Volunteering
From January 2012, The BHOGG allotment will be "Under New management" and looking for a new batch of willing workers to help with all the seasonal tasks on site.
A monthly program of practical workshops followed by a shift on the allotments is planned and will start in February 2012 so if you would like to find out more about volunteering on the BHOGG plots, just come along to one of these workshops as a "Taster" day. These sessions are free to BHOGG members, others cost £5 or 2 hours labour on the day.
Please wear suitable clothing and bring your own lunch if you would like to. Tea and coffee provided.

The next workshop will be on Sunday February 19th 2012, and will focus on pruning fruit bushes and other winter tasks.
Workshop times 12 noon - 2pm then volunteer session until 4pm
